The Aluksnes Lake Holiday Home by AB3D Architects

Posted by on Jul 13, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE

Sitting on a slope in the beautiful Latvian countryside, the Aluksnes Lake holiday villa complements the surrounding landscape with its thermo-wood and glass construction. AB3D Architects designed it on three levels where the private rooms including the fireplace and wine cabinet are organized on the main floor due to the curvy nature of the landscape. The living rooms, dining area and kitchen are all placed on the second floor with a viewing platform slightly above on a third level. The terraces outside, both open and closed, provide an intimate environment for residents around the serene placement of the old and new trees dabbled around this lovely home.
