The Miniforms Pelleossa Chair by Francesco Faccin

Posted by on Jul 17, 2012 in DESIGN, HOME DECOR, ITALIANS DO IT BETTER

The thin frame of the Miniforms Pelleossa chair literally looks like its meaning – skin and bones. This delicate piece of furniture was inspired by the natural decline of the skeletal system. Italian designer Francesco Faccin handcrafted the wood and stretched fabric across the seat to result in a fusion of the finest in traditional workmanship and modern production effectiveness. The “turn and copy” method used to make each chair is a repetition of only two diameters (30mm max and 15mm min) to enhance its features.
