The Cloud structure is probably the closest piece of architecture to make one feel like they’re floating in the sky above them. Its three tree trunks hold up this amazing structure and branch off from a tree on a hill in Kanagawa, Japan. Sabaoarch designed it to maintain it’s architectural stance while blending into the beautiful nature around it. Three areas connect to the spaces between each trunk while its curves merges into the trees shape. The line between architecture and nature fades away as the tree grows with time and transforms into a living space. The large supporting tree is a blue Japanese oak and its floor is made of yellow cedar (Ulin, Iron wood). Wind rocks the cloud gently while natural light enters through the deck floor slits. Leaves protect against strong sunlight and light rain. Its roof is a home for the birds and insects while covering the inhabitants below.
