Space Shuttle Enterprise Exhibit in New York City

  • As commercial space flight becomes increasingly plausible, it’s incredible to consider that only four NASA shuttles remain. Enterprise—which is now on view at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum—was the prototype that commenced space exploration in 1977. Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour followed, with success; and Challenger (1986) and Columbia (2003) both met with disaster. To visit the Space Shuttle Enterprise in New York is, plainly, an astronomical opportunity.
