Appartamento AL by Archiplan Studio

Posted by on Aug 8, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE

Archiplan Studio’s apartment in Mantova, Italy explores the relationship between natural and artificial, as well as imperfections that might arise in the design process. Under its slanted roof with exposed beams, the apartment features coated concrete, hanging brass accents, and IKEA furnishings. With such details of construction evident—in the beams, for example, and in textured brick walls—the minimalist décor sustains gritty undertones.
