Fashion designer Jun Takahashi of Undercover continues his collaboration with UNIQLO for another season to bring another installment of the family-friendly collection. The concept of appropriate and affordable clothing for the entire family is extended to include outerwear featuring UNIQLO’s signature fabrics and make such as its HEATTECH line and Ultra Light Down jackets. For men’s and women’s, the collection features a sophisticated and solemn palette of wine, olive, navy, and black – undoubtedly a contribution from Takahashi. Photographs of the collection reveal cropped skinny jeans paired with fitted shirts and blazers, along with miniskirts and longer fur-trimmed jackets. For children’s wear, brighter hues of pink, red, and yellow are matched with darker ones that mirror the clothing for adults. Last spring, the team delivered on its promise to step up the high-quality casual look of UNIQLO with the edginess and imagination characteristic of Takahashi’s styling; for their second act, they aim to do the same but with a greater freedom to embrace a more mature look in line with Takahashi’s penchant for the devil-may-care attitude.
