Hand-Bound Hemp Mirrors by Grain

Works of painstaking modern-day craftsmanship, these mirrors are first cut to shape, then hand stitched with hemp twine around the perimeter, to attach the mirror layer to wooden backing. The hand-stitching with hemp twine provides a subtle contrast to the precisely cut mirror, adding an element of roughness to otherwise perfectly shaped forms. A variety of hemp colors and mirror textures are available, and the mirrors come in different sizes. In accordance with Grain‘s commitment to environmental responsibility, the production process is sustainable, utilizing FSC certified baltic birch plywood, and other renewable materials, and does not use any toxic chemicals. And they’re made in the Pacific Northwest.
