Essentials for Exploration by Vinted Goods

Posted by on Aug 27, 2012 in DESIGN, FASHION AND STYLE

Leather goods are tricky; they demand quality craftsmanship as well as a delicate balance between classical and fresh before the scales tip to doctrinaire. Keeping all of these variables in check, Los Angeles-based Vinted Goods has created a new line christened “Essentials for Exploration,” equipage appropriate for frequent travelers with a flair of style. The line includes the perfect weekender bag, a sleek briefcase, and a traveler’s backpack, along with a variety of smaller accessories such as a camera shoulder strap. Each of the pieces in the collection features sun-tanned leather accents on handles, straps, and the undersides for long-lasting durability. Catering to the needs of both city-dwellers and world explorers, the designs combine the refined appearance of leather with the urban look of ballistic nylon, the two materials creating a color contrast of light brown ochre against a modern black and navy. Vinted Goods is over 90% of the way to their $30,000 Kickstarter goal, and with about three more weeks to go, the brand is looking to be a hit among adventurers and sophisticates alike.
