Barber Amsterdam

  • If women are allowed a relaxing spa day every so often, then why can’t men have an indulgent trip to the barber’s? Barber Amsterdam offers the luxury that every man deserves, but in a setting that is masculine, sleek, and sophisticated. Copper tubing snakes its way around the barbershop, serving as conduits of both electricity and water. Cognac leather chairs pose in front of panels of looking-glass, inset into the walls, while suitcases with all necessary accoutrements hang off to the side. The entrance of the shop proudly displays a chalkboard of stylish pickings. Whether “The Connery” is your look of choice or whether “The Hemingway” is your preferred treatment, Barber is sure to acquiesce to every bit of dandy in the man. But no cocktails or mimosas are served at this establishment; strong coffee, whisky, or a cold beer satisfies these patrons. Despite the refreshments and pleasurable add-ons, Barber is at its very core a serious barbershop. Every man is guaranteed a close, clean shave, and will leave the shop looking even sharper than the DOVO Solignen razor blades that are put to good work.
