Jindal’s Pavilion by Paul Archer Design
Even the most modest spaces can be transformed into a vehicle for creativity. Paul Archer Design knights a humble amount of square footage with beauty and majesty in the design of Jindal’s Pavilion in a London backyard. The guest house, which performs a secondary role as a space for meditation, utilizes light to frame the space in a warm atmosphere. The glazing that replaces two of the bedroom walls as well as a skylight invite ample light, while the gate-like metal panels cast ever-changing shadows across the exterior patio. Even in the nighttime, the pavilion showcases a comforting glow, the interior illumination bouncing off the sunny yellow wall in the guest bedroom.
