Geometric Food Art by Sakir Gökçebag
Anybody hungry? This delicious pattern photography is made by Turkish artist Sakir Gokcebag. The fresh arrangement of fruits and vegetables really gets us excited to participate in this week’s local farmers market. Each geometric food art is manipulated with precise cuts and exact angles to give us the illusion of digital imagery. In fact, every one of these creations has been crafted by hand with a flawless presentation. The bright and happy pink flesh of the watermelon and the shiny skins of crisp apples make healthy food to be desired. The food takes on perfect shapes of circles and squares; among the patterns include star-burst, quilted, and “x”s.
