TGT Wallet by Jack Sutter

Posted by on Oct 24, 2012 in DESIGN, FASHION AND STYLE

With wallets, finding the right size is hard. If it isn’t too large and bulky, then it ends up being too small to store the necessary credit cards, IDs, and twenties. Brooklyn-based designer Jack Sutter has devised a simple, ingenious solution: TGT. Inspired by the convenience of rubber bands and elastics, TGT (pronounced “tight”) is a matchbook-sized wallet made from high-quality elastic, which stretches to fit snugly around any traveling necessities. The fabric even accommodates an iPhone, and TGT 2.0 – a sleeker, more sophisticated version – features a small pocket made of Italian leather. Many graphic patterns are available, as soon as the project reaches its Kickstarter funding goal; though TGT just premiered on Kickstarter this Tuesday, it has already surpassed the quarter-mark and is well on its way to revolutionizing the world, one wallet at a time.
