Talk about making the most with what you’ve got. When square footage is limited hand over the challenge to Ondesign in Tokyo. The project started out as a large crack between two buildings. Using a lot of high ceilings and focusing on natural light, this skinny home has redefined tight quarters. The finishes are flawless highlighting gorgeous wood grains against bright white walls. They also invented something called “The Opening” which is basically a breezeway, encased or not, to bring the outdoors in essentially. It is an excellent concept to make this tall, tiny home feel as open and airy as possible.
