Nomadic Light was created by Katharina Eisenkoeck to bring mobility and style to the commonly “fixed” light fixtures. Using the timeless material of dark leather, she has wrapped the cement base by boiling the leather to form fit.  Just a touch of metal brings shine for the light to bounce off. The three LED lights can be adjusted to create different moods. They are run off of a battery that can be recharged within just six hours of spending time in the leather shelf.  This docking station is clever using an inductive charging system already built into the shelf and lamp. Simply by touching the light, it can be powered on or off.

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
