Custom Ducati Monster 1100R by Arrick Maurice
There’s nothing like a little competition to get the creativity flowing! Arrick Maurice, brand manager of Ducati’s North American market, tried his hand at a custom redesign of the Ducati Monster 1100R. His custom bike, a 2009 Monster 1100S, still retains the raw power of the Ducati despite its facelift, which took 11 kilograms off the stock weight. Upgrades include anodized black Öhlins forks and Speedymoto triple clamps at the front of the bike, and a powder-coated black Öhlins shock at the rear. Of course, every fantastic bike is outfitted with a fantastic paint job, and Maurice’s Monster has a new suit of jet black and gold luster from Finishing Touch.
