You+Me is a dynamo lamp. For those unfamiliar with the term, “dynamo” is the name given to a device capable of producing an electrical current; pair that with “lamp” and you get a lamp that says goodbye to electrical outlets and batteries. Designer Siren Elise Wihelmsen fuses this functionality with form by encasing the mechanism in a beautifully carved, wooden lamp chimney and a transparent glass shade. The top of the lamp features loop for easy hanging, as well as a colorful ring to encourage the magical tugs that can power the lamp for a good thirty minutes. When all is said and done, You+Me is a friendly piece that can serve both as part of the interior décor and also as a fashionable flashlight when necessary.
