iRock by Micasa Lab

Posted by on Nov 6, 2012 in DESIGN, HOME DECOR

How do you charge your electronics? Micasa Lab, based in Zurich, has developed a new way to charge your electronics that will literally rock your world. iRock, a refurbished rocking chair, uses the mechanical motion of the traditional seat as a generator for electrical charge to power your iPhone, and other Apple devices. Crafted from Swedish pine wood, the not-so-traditional rocking chair also has a stylish pair of built-in speakers at the top of the chair back for complete auditory enjoyment. Currently available in a clean white that matches Apple’s look, iRock will soon be available in a color spectrum of black, red, yellow, and even striped – just more fabulous ways to rock the iRock!
