“I Still Love New York” T-Shirt by Sebastian Errazuriz

Posted by on Nov 7, 2012 in ART, GOOD CAUSES

During the relentless force of Hurricane Sandy, designer Sebastian Errazuriz’s studio was unable to continue with its normal activities. Yet, even hard circumstances can spark creativity. The ordeal inspired Errazuriz to create the “I Still Love New York” t-shirt, a spoof of the popular “I Love New York” tourist campaign. The cotton shirt features the same imprint but with a stormy sea of blue as the backdrop, a reminder that loving New York means loving and embracing its neighboring ocean as well – come what may. The New York-based artist is donating 100% of the profits to Hurricane Sandy relief programs, and more importantly, he is fostering hope and encouragement for recovery and rebuilding. Buy here
