Still Water by Nic Fiddian Green

Posted by on Nov 9, 2012 in ART

Nic Fiddian Green takes true pride in his work. This masterpiece, a bronze horse head sculpture towering 35 feet high on display in the heart of London, has been defaced by local birds. Showing constant passion, he has taken it upon himself to clean the dirty mess from top to bottom. It is called Still Water and there are others like it all around the world. They are an inspiration of his own horse George. This particular profile shows the head being balanced from the tip of its nose. The sun hits against the carved jaw line in the face leaving dark shadows behind. It is amazing and lovely. Passer by-ers look to admire his work everyday.
