Architecture, Italians do it better

As the name suggests, VIVERE is an environment that encourages the natural joys of life and the mere act of being. A project for Whiteline Hotels by trio Calzà, Geniuzzi, and Banal Architetti Associati, the getaway house caters to open spaces and stands in deference to the green hills and picture-perfect scene of Arco near the Lake Garda. The organization follows that of a courtyard house, though the large panels of glazing prevent the guestrooms and suites from feeling too secluded and transform the house into more of an outdoor pavilion. Soft, gentle lighting encourages a sense of community, as do the long family-style dining table and the inviting wooden patios near the outdoor pool that automatically becomes a gathering place for guests.
