Simple and classic is the approach that Ezra Caldwell of Fast Boy Cycles takes in his design of Burlington Burner, a bicycle that features modern accoutrements with a timeless style. The bike, christened after its origin in Burlington, VT, captures some of that Northeast “prep” with the light green paint details on white tubing, cork grips, and Brooks leather saddle. Built as a hop-and-go, Burlington Burner has a two-speed kick-back coast hub, and solid 29” wheels. There is elegance to be found in the understated look, but reliability and top-performance in the mechanics.
