Molded Moss Sculptures by Vegetal Identity
Not sure if your garden is saying enough? Check out French design studio Vegetal Identity’s latest works that transform leafy greens into descriptive icons and messages. These sculptures of sphagnum moss packed into the confines of a metal border – similar to how cookie dough is cut into shapes with a silver template – lend new meaning to the space occupied by plants and vegetation. “Greeny Mood” spells out g-r-e-e-n in large, scripted letters while another work titled “Jungle Gun” outlines a gun in the dark camouflage of actual foliage. Taking Vegetal Identity’s work as inspiration, why not try a more unconventional planter than the standard terracotta pot?
