Egarements by Cerise Doucede
Cerise Doucede of Paris, France has arranged this intriguing series of photograph prints called Egarements. The random collection of floating objects around these characters suggests there’s more to the story. Interesting, certainly meaningful, items scattered all around give the impression that they are unseen, maybe thoughts or hidden agendas. It gives a clue as to what’s really going on. Whether displaying wealth, hobby, or lust their expressions seem unfavorable. Our judgments passed on them are a natural reaction: greedy, lonely, empty, bored. Unfortunately it’s far too common that our minds have the power to destroy us. If only we could pause our thoughts in this way, maybe we could find rest.
