Everyone has always been quick to associate the future as shiny, metallic, with extreme lack of greenery, maybe none at all like the Jetsons. Giorgia Zanellato uses her imagination for our futuristic appetites. Her presentation Space Food draws out a few giggles, as though the astronauts would actually eat food translated into space worthy metallic. The banana, in true natural form, with the iconic sticker renamed as NASA. The burger stacked with double cheese, patty and bun: foil, foil and foil. The tempting donut stares, sprinkles included, almost giving me a writer’s craving.
