Zumthor Vacation Homes in Leis

Posted by on Feb 2, 2013 in ARCHITECTURE

A typical Switzerland postcard might depict idyllic houses with snow covered rooftops upon a mountainside, but its reality is closer than one might think. Zumthor vacation homes, owned by Annalisa and Peter Zumthor, offer the opportunity to experience the splendor and white majesty of Leis, Graubünden. The homes are a few in the cluster that make up the hamlet, each of the cozy homes featuring a wooden interior and large panels of glass to better frame the view. Wooden furnishings makes the home a warm retreat from the surrounding cold, and small accents of color especially pop against the snowy, picturesque background.
