Ever had a classic Coke from a glass bottle?  The cold green tinted glass, with its perfect pear shape middle is so much more fun to drink out of than can or plastic. Feels more like a treat, something extra special, like everything else that needs a bottle opener.

The vintage Coca-Cola image is back to connect us to the brand and to the nostalgic moments we have had with soda pop. Nigo from Human Made and Hiroshi Kubo from Beams have put their heads together rummaging through some Coca-Cola collectibles. They came up with a 10 piece collection featuring the red dot iconic symbol standing since the 1800s. The collard shirts and jump suits capture the feel of the uniforms of those blue collar workers, clocking in everyday, working the line, driving crates of glass bottles to the corner store. Their awesome tee shirts capture the essence of “Enjoy” with screen printed images inspired from old tin store signs.  They are truly proud of this project reflecting a piece of their childhood, while the character of back then makes for a cool, one of a kind look now.

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
