Kaico White Enamel Cookware by Makoto Koizumi

The glossy sheen of white enamel on a metal teapot is an iconic image for the formality and quiet poignancy of Japanese tea ceremonies. Makoto Koizumi has captured this look and feel in Kaico Collection, a line of white enamel cookware with the same heightened elegance. The collection includes a coffeepot, pasta pot, and – of course – a teapot, all of which are accented with the light maple wood on the handles and lids. The inner lining of the cookware, the reflectivity of metal or a dark blue coloration, brings a material and visual contrast to the pristine white of the exterior finish. Available soon at GSelect
