Collaboration fuels creation, and for outside-the-box thinkers, a common workspace in which to brainstorm and produce is a valued asset. Designer Miguel de la Garza recognizes this need and offers Work Table 002 as a modern and functional platform. The work surface is a 6×8 ft. sheet of pine of standard lumber dimensions, for ease of construction, and has a cut-out in the middle for up to eight electronic devices. Conscious to storage needs and keeping a clean image, a second surface serves as a shelf for laptops and other tools. This double-layer construction cleverly mirrors the workflow of great projects: approaching one idea at a time, with a swarm of possibilities waiting to be explored.
