What Does 200 Calories Look Like?
For the calorie-counters out there: this one’s for you. WiseGEEK.com has put together a collection of 71 photographs, each displaying a different type of food… but only 200 calories of it. Consider “What Does 200 Calories Look Like?” a new form of the infographic – perhaps, the photo-graphic. While the pile of carrots is expected, the trio of eggs and the two-thirds of a sesame bagel become a reality check. Other interesting visuals include the spoonful of peanut butter and the overflowing amount of celery that fits on the uniform measuring tare, the humble dinner plate. The study is thorough and interesting, but be warned! You might soon regret that last Snickers bar.
