Galletti and Matter managed to combine the rustic touch of old horse stables at the foothills of Satarma Valais Switzerland with their trademark play of modern textures. Superb design in every nook and cranny from the criss cross staircase to the basket weave siding. Darling pocket windows peek to the outside, evoking the warmth of a country cottage. Weathered wood that was pieced together by hand ages ago intersects new golden hue timber. All throughout gorgeous solid wooden doors are equipped with antique hardware. They refuse to let go of the history, and make it a priority to bring a true representation of the equestrian ghosts from the past collaborated with modern amenities. Photographs © Lionel Henriod

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
