These coffee tables might look like descended UFOs but Prehistoric Aliens are still friendly to a humanitarian cause. Mattias Rask and Tor Palm of Glimpt produced the textured pieces through Artesanos Don Bosco, a sector of an Italian organization dedicated to helping Peruvians who live in remote villages to embrace their way of life. ADB specifically promotes regional craftsmanship, and Prehistoric Aliens was a venture to introduce a more modern take on furniture while also incorporating the image of a mystical South America to the unknowing Westerner. The bevels carved into the wooden furniture are strikingly detailed and beautiful, and appropriately reflect the great products of cross-cultural collaboration and learning.
