A true DIY enthusiast, Tom Arbisi found a new medium for the skills he usually employs in industrial design. Arbisi assembled a porteur using True Temper tubes and Henry James lugs, a few of his own machined parts, and a lot of love. Erring on the practical side, Arbisi drew from the design of classic road bikes to fabricate his own interpretation in black and silver. The 11-speed bicycle contains several personal touches including the bit of stitched leather on the pedals, and the decorative metal plates centered upon the spokes of the wheels. Not bad for a first run at the job, and we can only hope to see more of the same!
