B12 Stool by Oscar Nunez

Far from being the traditional bar stool, B12 Stool is a manifestation of great craftsmanship and geometric emphasis in design. The solid ash wood stool, designed by Oscar Nuñez, bears a nearly symmetric look that is thrown off-kilter with the angles of the struts that support the rectangular seat. The beveled lip of the seat is reflected in the interior angles of the triangular forms as well as the wooden connections to the stool’s lower legs. Simplicity speaks volumes in this particular piece, which features natural colors and an honest construction. Only subtly is directionality referenced, with the bend of the legs conforming to the natural fold of the knees of the seated individual.
