Bikes Across Borders blends the boundaries of cultures in its initiative, and the same message is apparent in Sarah Surrette’s redesign of the non-profit’s image. A collection starting from the very logo to the stationary, website, and posters is infused with bright colors and motifs that reflect a crossover into Mexico. The simple, bold rhombi tiled across the marketing material contain various elements drawn from woven tapestries and hues native to the Texas-Mexico area. As the organization makes is annual trip south of the border, they’ll be bringing some visual inspiration as well as delivering bikes to Mexico.
