Andrew Hinman Architecture (AHA) imbued their Locomotive Ranch Trailer with Americana by building a vintage aluminum trailer into a permanent house foundation. The stationary trailer, rather than driving through the Southwest plains, now reflects the natural world, quite literally, with the trees and the Nueces River mirrored on one side. In such an open house, the trailer serves as a more private space. The refurbished bamboo walls welcome you to relax, sip fresh-squeezed orange juice, and think back on summers past.
