Nendo is so awesome to come up with the coolest details in life. Like the perfect set of chopsticks. There are six designs total the Hanataba, the Rassen, the Kamiai, the Sukima, the Jikaoki and the Udukuri. Each one offers unique qualities that make it special. The Hanataba creates a colorful flower’s bloom on its end when clustered together appear like a bouquet. This is formed by the lovely rounded square like shape making this chopstick an easier one to handle. An elegant twirl of the Rassen clips the two together formed by a multi-axis CNC mill. Whereas the Kamiai stick together by means of magnets, easily pulling apart when in use. Also can be nestled one inside the other for perfectly compact storage. In between each pair of the Sukima is the tiniest message carved out as either heart, diamond, club, spade. The jikaoki square shape of the better half helps with technique, a rounded end makes up for a comfortable fit in the palm of your hand. Their design allows the chopsticks to sit hovering over the table without being contaminated. Using the udukuri process for this version their finished look is brought by a metal brush against the natural wood, then is lacquered and polished pretty. Followed by another technique known as Togidashi which uses organic matter pressed on then polished away to reveal a beautiful one of a kind pattern.
