The Blaze Bike Laserlight

According to a study of biking accidents in the UK, 79% of collisions occurred when the driver couldn’t see the cyclist traveling straight ahead. In subsequent product research, Blaze’s design team found that traditional bike lights were often too dull or fell into vehicles’ blind spots. Their solution, the Laserlight boosts cyclist visibility by projecting a green laser light nearly fifteen feet ahead. Powered by a Li-ion battery, the Laserlight lasts 13 hours per charge and is USB-compatible. The light is also waterproof and easily turned on and off with two-button control. Currently available for pre-order, this safety accessory should be a serious consideration for anyone planning to pedal the streets, especially after dark.
