Designed by Núria Selva Villaronga, the Empordà House is a new addition to the village of Forallac in Girona, Spain. Part of a U-shaping road of historic buildings, the home mimics the surrounding architecture. The exterior features natural stone and a gabled roof with eaves of ceramic tile, for instance. The property includes several outside attractions, including a pergola, a pool, and a small orchard. Inside, the house has a more modern aesthetic with a neutral palette and sharp, clean lines. Altogether, the irregularly-shaped home combines old and new for grand effect.
