Dutch accessory brand Indigo People makes scarves with contemporary style and traditional craftsmanship. All of their pieces are woven, dyed, and selected by hand, preserving the person-to-person aspect of design. The scarves are made with open and plain weaves as well as ikat and four-grill techniques. The resulting designs come in solids as well as plaid, striped, and naturally wavy patterns that are twice dyed or tinted with two shades of indigo. Select styles are also wembellished with red plant dye, textured with rice powder, or decorated with bicolor fringes. Made by artisans, the scarves add an individual, authentic touch to the modern indigo-lover’s wardrobe.
