Not half-bad. The Halfbike is a grownup tricycle invented by architects Martin Angelov and Mihail Klenov of Kolelinia. Described by Dezeen as a “low-tech version of the Segway,” the three-wheeled vehicle is built around a waist-height handlebar so that the rider can stand. The upright position makes for a longer line of sight and an exercise experience similar to low-impact running. Additionally, the Halfbike’s aluminium frame is lightweight enough to be carried indoors, making the design ultra-portable. Intended for urban cyclists, the Halfbike travels short distances in a fun, swaying motion. Learn more and support the first batch by checking out Kolelinia’s Kickstarter campaign.
