Designed by Frenchman Mathieu Lehanneur, the Boom Boom speaker is a digital boombox inspired by simple, natural forms. The wireless device is an icosahedron in shape and fits in the palm of one’s hand like a piece of fruit. The attached strap makes the Boom Boom easy to carry, and, with fifteen hours of continuous playback, the speaker can follow one throughout the day, enlivening indoor and outdoor spaces with music. The contemporary design has an intuitive touch-controlled interface and talks to the user at startup and when the battery runs low. Additionally, the Boom Boom speaker connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth, enabling voice and video calls.
