Toro Canyon Getaway Home in Santa Barbara

View all 18 Photos

An escape from Los Angeles, this Bestor Architecture home is hidden away in the mountains of Santa Barbara, California. The site is located near Montecito and faces the quiet side of a national park. Clad in Alaskan cedar wood, the home has a natural yet polished look that complements the backyard pool and garden. The house itself is broken up by three courtyards which provide sunlight, ventilation, and wind buffering. Sliding glass doors open to the courtyard living room, integrating the indoor and outdoor spaces.
