Designed by Merge Architects, a firm based in Boston, the Peg Wall was built for a private loft in Massachusetts. The structure is a sculptural shelving unit with a bathroom hidden inside. Made entirely of wood, the design is composed of a pegboard wall liner and 40,000 dowels of 30 varying lengths. The pieces flow together, forming a complex geometric wave that functions both as a bookshelf and a discreet door.
