DIY Cardboard Pinhole Camera

View all 6 Photos

The VIDDY is a fully-functional 35mm pinhole camera by Kelly Angwood of Pop-Up Pinhole. Nostalgic for childhood crafts, the camera is made of cardboard and available as a flatpacked DIY kit that takes less than half an hour to set up. The process is easy, and the product comes recommended for ages eleven and up, including grown-ups.

The resulting camera takes nice, soft pictures and is a great item for photography lovers of all skill levels. Made in Britain, the camera is a quality investment for anyone curious about film. The VIDDY is an attractive accessory as well. The body of the camera is screenprinted with vintage-inspired designs in red, green, blue, and black. Each style comes with stickers illustrated by Becca Allen and Suzi Kemp. Find the VIDDY on Kickstarter, where the design is already fully funded and can be purchased for 30€.
