Like a traditional yurt from Central Asia, the Jero is a small structure in the shape of a donut. Collaboratively designed by Trakke and Uula Jero, this contemporary version comes flat-packed, allowing the lightweight hut to be moved with ease. No tools are needed for assembly, though some labor is involved. Intended for camping and alternative living, the stilted design is weatherproof and durable. The 15oz canvas roof protects against rain, and while the  marine plywood, polyester rope, and stainless steel components hold it all together. This modern-day yurt is made in Scotland and available from Trakke for £4500.
