Launching on Kickstarter today, the OLAF hybrid kick scooter and bag. The transportation design features a patented folding mechanism, a customizable steering column, and multiple options for use. The OLAF comes in Business and Urban models, available for $316 and $270 respectively. The Business edition is a 3-in-1 kick scooter, suitcase, and trolley. Made to travel, the design is airline-approved, spacious enough for a weekend trip, and lightweight as can be. The Urban version, on the other hand, is a 4-in-1 kick scooter, backpack, trolley, and wooden skateboard. The open design provides a hitch for the accompanying backpack or another large bag, and supporters have the option to buy just the frame at a reduced price. Available in black, blue, and pink colorways, the mesh backpack comes with a padded laptop compartment and flexible wheel pockets. Both the Business and Urban variations are unisex, unisize, waterproof, reflective, and laser-engravable. The two scooters are outfitted with rear wheel brakes for safety and bear loads of up to 220lbs, a weight limit that will hopefully be improved upon in subsequent designs. Support OLAF on Kickstarter before Thursday, Oct 23, 2014, to get your hands on the first collection and help jumpstart their next line.
