This wood-clad house can be found in the valleys of Casablanca, Chile. The Orlando Etcheberrigaray home frames a single, North-facing view of the mountains, while allowing light to come in through the wooden slats, sliding glass doors, and a courtyard. Made with nature and sustainability in mind, the house is raised so that its construction disrupts as little of the earth as possible. The design brings people outside onto the deck and into the pool, where they can admire the mountainside view from all angles.
