BKR Concept Bike by Pietro Russomanno

Boasting a decidedly retro design doesn’t usually mean going back far enough to utilize mainly all-natural materials, but the BKR bicycle concept by Italian designer Pietro Russomanno proposes using a finely crafted plywood skeleton as a natural base. Strong yet flexible, the BKR melds going green with smart design, making decisions such as inserting rubber gaskets along the structure of the bike. Additionally, a simple one-button system also allows riders to change seat height, and a dynamic energy generation system can transmit speed or distance info to the rider via a smartphone dock.
