The Brooklyn-based artist Andrej Urem hand-pours candles for his eponymous AU Collection. Inspired by architecture, Urem plays with shape and shadow to create geometric, complex candles that can be stacked and displayed as beautiful and utilitarian objects. Each piece is made of soy, beeswax, and a cotton wick. The natural materials make the products safer to use, so that they can be burned continuously for up to 60 hours with no smoke or soot. Soon available from GSelect.
