COBI is a smart bike connector system that integrates a range of functions and centralizes them right between the handlebars. Created by iCradle in partnership with app developer SDK, this new technology offers many different ways to upgrade your cycling experience. COBI can be used in conjunction with one’s smartphone, and the 5.5” mount is adjustable to future phone sizes and shapes. Features include thumb-controlled or hands-free calls, music, weather updates, navigation assistance, fitness tracking, and other app use. With COBI, you can get all of the fitness and distance info provided by a state-of-the-art stationary bike while commuting or exploring cool terrain. The design is also outfitted with an autobrake, director indicators, and motion sensors that enable proximity start-up and anti-theft lights and alarms. The feature-packed design has already been successfully funded on Kickstarter, where it will continue to be available for pre-order until January 2, 2015.
